IN AID OF GUIDE DOGS FOR THE BLIND

ALL FUNDS RAISED WILL GO DIRECTLY TO GUIDE DOGS FOR THE BLIND

Following a highly succesful concert in Malvern in November 2024, Tarantara are delighted to be invited again to support Guide Dogs for the Blind.  More details to follow but we are being supported by the 6 local Guide Dogs Fundraising Groups from Worcester, Stratford-on-Avon & North Cotswolds, Cheltenham, Redditch & Bromsgrove, Malvern & Ledbury and Leamington Spa.

We hope to fill the wonderful theatre at the Number 8 Arts Centre in the centre of Pershore and we will be joined by some of the amazing guide dogs - puppies in training, working dogs, breeding dogs and ambassador dogs.  Tarantara is truly a 'choir for all tastes' and will be performing a variety of music from pop to classical and everything in between.  However, it's more than likely that the wonderful dogs will still steal the limelight!

Free parking is available at Pershore Asda - just 3 minutes walk from the theatre.  Tickets will only be available through the Number 8 Box Office - tickets not yet available but watch this space.

In the meantime, if you would like more information then please contact Rod Arthur on 07796 193840 or by e-mail on This email address is being protected from spambots. TARANTARA REVIEWS

  • Just a very very big thank you from all of us for introducing the wonderful choir. They were fantastic and we were thrilled to have a really good audience for them. They have helped us make a lot of money for our charity.and we are greatly in their debt.

    Peter, Rotary Club

  • Just to say I was greeted by a friend at the (WI) Country market this morning saying what a fantastic choir it was on Saturday, to which I heartily agreed! She loved the variety of songs and found it very entertaining.

Tony, President of the Reepham and District Rotary Club.

  • Dear members of Tarantara and Alcester Silver Band Thank you so much for your generous donation of £2,500 to the Alcester Dementia Cafe after the wonderful concert put on last month. It was a fantastic evening and many of our clients and volunteers attended. The choice of music was such a good variety, and as we are so aware music is so important to people living with dementia as it's one of the last things that seems to remain. The donation is very much appreciated and will go towards activities and trips that we provide for our clients and carers.

    - Eileen Barnes, Trustee and Treasurer, Alcester Cafe 8th July 2024

  • We were treated to a splendid evening by Tarantara, who presented us with a first rate concert. It was truly lovely and much appreciated by those present. We hope lots of money was raised for Primrose Hospice and Motor Neurone Disease - both so worthwhile.

Jan and Pat, Tardebigge, November 2022

  • What a wonderful, uplifting concert last night - thank you for organising it!

    Pam, Tardebigge - November 2022

  • The choir's aspiration to provide quality music which appeals to a wide range of tastes was well demonstrated. The children who attended clearly enjoyed the show greatly.

heard before, during and after from the audience at the Royal Leamington Spa Bowling Club, October 2023

  • Another brilliant concert by this talented choir. A wide ranging programme of music for all tastes. Been following them for a few years now and they go from strength to strength. Go see them if they are in your area and help support local causes.

    Yvonne, Aston Cantlow, April 2024

  • "This is the best £28 we have spent for a long time!"

    - Member of the audience at our 20th Anniversary Concert, Bidford-on-Avon, 20th May 2023

  • Thank you so much for a great concert on Saturday evening. It was good to have a mixed choir which was a change for us to hear. The programme was varied and appealed to everyone. It was also good to have the church full. The financial result was excellent which raised over £1000 for the two charities. I'm glad we had the ceiling repaired recently otherwise it may have come down as the volume was great!
