TARANTARA REVIEWS

  • Just to say I was greeted by a friend at the (WI) Country market this morning saying what a fantastic choir it was on Saturday, to which I heartily agreed! She loved the variety of songs and found it very entertaining.

Tony, President of the Reepham and District Rotary Club.

  • Another brilliant concert by this talented choir. A wide ranging programme of music for all tastes. Been following them for a few years now and they go from strength to strength. Go see them if they are in your area and help support local causes.

    Yvonne, Aston Cantlow, April 2024

  • Dear members of Tarantara and Alcester Silver Band Thank you so much for your generous donation of £2,500 to the Alcester Dementia Cafe after the wonderful concert put on last month. It was a fantastic evening and many of our clients and volunteers attended. The choice of music was such a good variety, and as we are so aware music is so important to people living with dementia as it's one of the last things that seems to remain. The donation is very much appreciated and will go towards activities and trips that we provide for our clients and carers.

    - Eileen Barnes, Trustee and Treasurer, Alcester Cafe 8th July 2024

  • What a wonderful, uplifting concert last night - thank you for organising it!

    Pam, Tardebigge - November 2022

  • We were treated to a splendid evening by Tarantara, who presented us with a first rate concert. It was truly lovely and much appreciated by those present. We hope lots of money was raised for Primrose Hospice and Motor Neurone Disease - both so worthwhile.

Jan and Pat, Tardebigge, November 2022

  • The choir gave me goosebumps and were absolutely incredible!

    Lydia, Tardebigge - November 2022

  • Thank you so much for a great concert on Saturday evening. It was good to have a mixed choir which was a change for us to hear. The programme was varied and appealed to everyone. It was also good to have the church full. The financial result was excellent which raised over £1000 for the two charities. I'm glad we had the ceiling repaired recently otherwise it may have come down as the volume was great!

  • We would just like to let you know how much we enjoyed the performance of Tarantara at the Vale Golf and Country Club on Saturday evening. We have not seen Tarantara or been to watch a choir perform in the past so did not quite know what to expect! It was a delight from start to finish with the group performances, solos and duet. I particularly enjoyed the wide variety in the musical choices and the energy in the room throughout the evening. Everybody was visibly enjoying themselves both in the choir and in the audience. We will definitely be coming to another of your events. Thanks to the choir, the amazing musical director and pianist. What a great team!

J and W, Vale Golf and Country Club, February 2023

  • "This is the best £28 we have spent for a long time!"

    - Member of the audience at our 20th Anniversary Concert, Bidford-on-Avon, 20th May 2023

  • The choir's aspiration to provide quality music which appeals to a wide range of tastes was well demonstrated. The children who attended clearly enjoyed the show greatly.

The Buggler, Aston Cantlow, April 2024

  • Wow!! They have come all dressed up - it feels special doesn't it" "They really fill the room with sound!" "I didn't think they would be that good!"

heard before, during and after from the audience at the Royal Leamington Spa Bowling Club, October 2023

  • Just a very very big thank you from all of us for introducing the wonderful choir. They were fantastic and we were thrilled to have a really good audience for them. They have helped us make a lot of money for our charity.and we are greatly in their debt.

    Peter, Rotary Club
